Welcome to the Ladies Section of the Long Ashton Golf Club website!
Just a few bits of info on our very friendly Ladies Section which you might find useful in your search for a golf club to join (we think ours is excellent!!) …
We have a very active Ladies Section with around 80 playing members and also Social members. Our competitions (Medals and Stablefords) are played in 2s, on a Thursday and Sunday.
We also have Mixed competitions on Bank Holidays and other dates throughout the year.
There is a ‘turn up and team up’ on Monday mornings 9:30 which everyone is welcome to join.
All ladies are automatically members of the Gloucester Ladies County Association and subject to competition condition, may play in County events.
Our ladies have two teams in the Bristol & District Alliance. Players for these teams are chosen in handicap order and matches are played off scratch.
We play Friendly matches against other local Clubs.
New Lady Members will be given a ‘Buddy’ who will be able to help you with any queries you may have.
