Carson, who will defend the boys Under 16 Championship next week at High Post in Wiltshire, won the McGregor Trophy a year ago at Southport & Ainsdale when he finished five strokes ahead of the field after the championship had been cut to 54 holes because of high winds and driving rain. Quick list of recent events are:

Played for England U16 against England U18 at the Buckinghamshire on 1^st April, he won foursomes in the morning 4 and 2, he halfed singles in the afternoon, the overall result was a half which was very good for the U16.

Adam played in the Faldo series on 2^nd April at Saunton, shot a 1 under par round winning his age group U16 and also winning the whole day with the best score of all age groups up to U21, now playing off scratch.

On May 18th Adam won the 2008 Gloucester Golf Union Junior Championships, that took place at Lansdown Golf Club, with a gross score of 148 to win the Tait Cup. Adam was also awarded The Leslie Cox Cup for the Best Gross Score by a player under 17.
