Dress Code & Course Etiquette

We uphold a simple dress code here at Long Ashton.

On The Course

• Normal golf clothing and golf shoes are required.
• Trainers, jeans, track suits are not permitted.
• Shorts should be Tailored.

In The Clubhouse

• Smart casual dress is required.
• Ripped trousers, spiked golf shoes, track suits are not permitted.
• Soiled clothing and dirty shoes are not acceptable.

Course Etiquette

Whilst we do not expect all players to hold a current handicap, it is important that they all are regular competent players and are fully aware of course etiquette and know the correct way to repair pitch marks and endeavour to repair their own and ideally one more even if it is not theirs! 

Pace of play is extremely important and we would ask you to encourage anyone in your group to pick up if they are unable to score or if they lose a hole and players are waiting behind you, please let them through which is the club rule for any type of play.
