Long Ashton opens with a straightforward hole which has no special difficulties. A straight drive between two mounds and a bold approach to the green, which is well banked at the back, should do the trick.
“Big hitters might reach the green, but beware of OOB and other trouble on the right (which is true for the next twelve hole too). It may be best to concentrate on staying straight (generally a good idea at Long Ashton) and leave a full shot into the green.”
